On March 2 about 5:15p.m. Mt. Penn was dispatched along with Exeter, Lower Alsace and City of Reading Engine 5 to 1115 Fox Run in the Mountain Park section of the township for a reported structure fire. Tuesday was a busy day for Mt. Penn crews and we got to see the weather change from icy roads to pouring rain and wind to some sun and all the temperature changes in between.
The day was started shortly before 2a.m. with a call for the ladder and engine to assist Co 25 (Exeter) on a possible structure fire at the Home Depot on Perkiomen Ave. [...]
On April 18 at midnight R1 was dispatched to assist Company 5 (Oley) and Company 49 (Amity) with a 2 vehicle crash with reported entrapment at Oley Turnpike Rd and Memorial Highway (Route 662) in Oley Township. On March 16 at approximately 7:45am the full company was dispatched along with Engine 4 (Lower Alsace), Rescue 64 (West Reading) and Reading City Rescue 1 to assist Exeter Twp (Co25) for a reported structure fire with entrapment at 218 Grande Valley Rd. in the Crestwood section of the township.
