Over the past several weeks 4 of our firefighters spent quite a bit of time reviewing and practicing the requirements for Firefighter 1 at the Montgomery County Fire Academy. This certification, which they all passed, shows that they have met a set standard for book knowledge as well as practical skills as they apply to firefighters in Pennsylvania. We at the Mt. Penn Fire Company have over 75% of our active truck crew certified as FF1 now. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEWEST FF1 personnel:
