Ladder 1 responds to the City

November 2, 2014 @ 0106 hours

While the City of Reading was busy with a working structure fire, an additional structure fire assignment was dispatched for 1025 Greenwich St, City of Reading for a reported structure fire.  Ladder 1 responded along with Engines 7 and 9, Ladder 3 from the City plus other surrounding county companies.

A fire was discovered in the rear storefront of a mixed use occupancy.

Our Mission

The mission of the Mt. Penn Fire Company is to protect the lives and property of the people of Mt Penn from fires, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents; to save lives by providing Rescue services; to prevent fires through prevention and education programs; and to provide a 100% Volunteer work environment that values health, wellness and cultural diversity and is free of harassment and discrimination.
