We are taking applications for live-ins that have plans to continue their education at any of the 3 Berks County colleges, Alvernia (4.7 miles), Albright (3.8 miles) or Penn State Berks (10.2 miles). We offer a modern station with bunkroom, washer and dryer, free internet and exceptional dayroom in a suburban location that is convenient to all 3 schools. Access to public transportation, the great outdoors and local attractions is a plus! In return for this deal live-in students will be required to assist with station chores and respond to calls. In order to be considered you must have the following:
Current enrollment in one of the 3 local schools, approved MPFD application, clean background check, completion of all modules of Essentials of firefighting with an SBS. Haz-mat operations, CPR/First Aid.
