On June 20th thanks to the County of Berks and the Berks County Department of Emergency Services we received our new haz-mat spill response trailer. This project has been in the works for some time between DES and the participating departments and it replaces our 30 year old one. These new trailers are larger, much better organized and replace the old trailers with ones that are more up to today’s standards as far as capacity, lighting and organization of equipment. They should serve well for many years to come.
