It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Shake off those winter blues and come on out to get the best fastnachts in Berks! It looks like the weather will cooperate too! Mt. Penn’s 55th annual sale of these incredible treats is scheduled for this weekend, February 18th and 19th from 8a.m. until 4p.m.
As we all know, prices on everything have gone up. We are no different as the cost of our ingredients has risen significantly. Fortunately, we are doing our best to hold the line on prices and this year will be the same as last year at $12.00 per dozen or $6.00 per half dozen. Limited quantities of Turkey Syrup will also be available for $5.00 per jar.
We will be selling mostly from the fire station at 2711 Grant St. in Mt. Penn and if weather & manpower permit, we may be at the intersection of 23rd St. & Perkiomen Ave. QUANTITIES ARE LIMITED as we will only have 1000 dozen this year! Although the sale is scheduled for both days it is quite possible that we will sell out on Saturday and if we do, that is all until next year. Nothing will be held back! Don’t disappoint yourself or your family by missing out! Stop by early to ensure that you have all the tasty treats you need.
