Penn was dispatched to assist Birdsboro/Union (Co7) at 2 Industrial Drive for a reported structure fire at Van Industries.  Crews from Monocacy (Co6) and Gibralter (Co23) were also dispatched to assist. It has been a tough year to sell out due to weather which has been windy, bitter cold, snowy and sunny.  Thanks to our dedicated crew who put in lots of extra time and effort to keep selling we can now say we are SOLD OUT!  We would like to thank everybody who help make this possible and hope to see you all next year!

Crews assist City of Reading December 28, 2014 @ 2125 hours, Engine 1 and Ladder 1 respond to the City of Reading to assist on a 3 alarm double fatality fire in the 500 block of Spruce St. Ladder 1 crews were sent to assist Reading Car 6 with roof operation while the Engine 1 crew was sent to assist Reading Car 9 with interior operations.

The mission of the Mt. Penn Fire Company is to protect the lives and property of the people of Mt Penn from fires, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents; to save lives by providing Rescue services; to prevent fires through prevention and education programs; and to provide a 100% Volunteer work environment that values health, wellness and cultural diversity and is free of harassment and discrimination.
