Veteran’s Day

Well we’ve made it over halfway through fall and changing the clocks(again). The holiday season will be upon us in just a few weeks and before you know it another new year will be here. In the middle of all this is November 11th…..Veteran’s Day! This date was chosen as it was the day the Armistice was signed which brought an end to World War I.

As you go about your day tomorrow, dining out, shopping or taking a walk around the great outdoors, enjoy yourself and remember why you can do those things in freedom. It’s because of ALL veterans, whether they fought in combat or not, who at some point in their lives they swore to defend this nation and all it stands for. If you see a veteran in the course of your day stop and say thank you! Remember, a veteran is a person, who at some point in their lives wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America for an amount up to and including their life!
