It appears that some winter weather is on the way with anywhere from 5 to 8 inches of snow predicted and followed by bitter cold. This means different things for all of us but no matter how you prepare and get through there are a few things we all need to keep in mind:
Once the bad weather moves in don’t go out. Please stay off the roads unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary! This makes life easier for public works crews to do their job.
Those that can, help your older neighbors out and check on them to make sure they are ok.
Clear out those fire hydrants by your home at least 3ft all the way around as in the photo. If we need to use them it wastes valuable time trying to clear them ourselves.
Wear layered clothing and cover up, low temps the next several nights will be near 0 with windy conditions.
We hope you all stay safe, warm and dry!
