Once again it’s that time of year when we change our clocks to mark the end of Daylight Savings Time. It is also the time that you should change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout your home. Working detectors have saved many lives by providing the early warning that is needed when a fire or excessive carbon monoxide buildup happens, allowing you to safely escape so please take some time this weekend to change the batteries and test your alarms.
