On October 4th Mt. Penn joined with Amity, Exeter, Birdsboro, Gibraltar and Monocacy fire companies as well as Exeter Police in support of Home Depot’s Safety Day which is held the Saturday before Fire Prevention week. The weather was picture perfect! The project this year was a haunted house and after the kids completed this they got to visit with local emergency services, see the equipment they use and meet the police and firefighters. Everybody had a great time! We would like to thank the Home Depot team for inviting us to this special event!
