Beginning Monday April 3rd, the Mt. Penn Water Authority will begin flushing fire hydrants as part of their routine maintenance. This will be taking place between 7a.m. and 3p.m. during April and May. This work ensures the hydrants are flowing properly as well as flushing sediments and debris from the water mains. You may experience reduced water pressure and/or some discoloration of your tap water during these times but be assured the water will return to normal once the work is complete. Please use caution if you are passing by a water authority vehicle and crew during this operation.
