Assist to LA on vehicle crash

On March 20th shortly before 2:30p.m. Rescue 1 was dispatched to assist Lower Alsace (Co4) for a vehicle crash with entrapment at Angora Rd. & Wanner Rd.  The arriving personnel found 1 vehicle into a yard at that location with the driver unable to get out due to  injuries as well as heavy damage to the doors.  Crews used the hydraulic tools to force the passenger side door and then assisted the EMS crew with removing him to the ambulance for transport to the hospital.  The crash is under investigation by Central Berks Police.
