On July 5th just before 9:30p.m. Ladder 1 was dispatched, along with several mutual aid companies to 20 Raker Dr. in Oley Township for a reported structure fire. First arriving units confirmed heavy smoke and a working fire at the rear of the home with everybody evacuated. Crews had to lay a supply line up the long driveway for water supply and used several lines to extinguish the fire while the ladder crew performed ventilation. Units were able to begin clearing shortly before 11p.m. The cause remains under investigation. This is the second working fire that many companies handled in less than 12 hours.
