After a thorough evaluation of the department by the Insurance Services Office(ISO) the Mt. Penn Fire Company has attained a Class 2 ISO rating, one of only 917 in the entire country and one of less than 10 in PA. Improving the ISO rating is something the department has been working on for quite a while and the members are very proud that all of the hard work, dedication and attention to detail has paid off.
