Mt. Penn Fire Company

Until later Sarge

Yesterday we were saddened to learn of the passing of Keith ‘Sarge’ Eschleman. Keith retired from active firefighting several years ago but remained involved as Department Chaplain and more than likely a few dozen other things…playing Santa Claus, Christmas on the Mountain visual coordinator/designer etc. He was well known and served his country for 16 years in the Marine Corps as well. The Reading Fire Department along with other organizations, such as the American Legion and Elks Club, have recognized his valiant efforts with awards and special ceremonies but he always stayed humble. Keith will be sorely missed all around the city and county. The Mt. Penn Fire Company extends its deepest sympathy to the family, Reading Fire Department and all of those who knew and loved him. Until we meet again brother…..
