Mt. Penn Fire Company

3 Vehicle Crash in Mt. Penn

On April 23rd about 12:15p.m. Mt. Penn and Lower Alsace(Co4) were dispatched along with EMS for a vehicle crash with unknown injuries at Perkiomen Ave. and Butter Ln. Arriving units found a 3 vehicle chain reaction crash with large amounts of fluid and debris down. Fortunately none of the occupants were injured and all signed refusals with EMS. Oil dry was applied to the fluids down and units stood by until the tow company removed the vehicles. Units were able to clear by 12:50p.m. The crash is under investigation by Central Berks Regional PD.

Penn Fire Company is to protect the lives and property of the people of Mt Penn from fires, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents; to save lives by providing Rescue services; to prevent fires through prevention and education programs; and to provide a 100% Volunteer work environment that values health, wellness and cultural diversity and is free of harassment and discrimination.
