Just about an hour ago we received a call at the fire station from one of the elves at that works in the front office at the North Pole. It seems that Santa Claus himself found time in his schedule to make a pre-Christmas trip to our area and wanted to ride on a fire truck from Mt. Penn Fire Company! Exciting news indeed! After some discussion with the officers and truck crew and checking the weather forecast we finally figured out the best dates and times that we will be escorting the Big Man around. Those dates and times are as follows:
Mt. Penn Boro will be Friday December 20th beginning at 6:00p.m. and Alsace Township will be Saturday December 21st beginning at 1:00p.m.
All you have to do is go outside to look for the lights and listen for the sirens on the firetruck and you will know Santa is near. Be sure to give a friendly wave!
