On February 19 just before 3:30p.m. Mt. Penn was dispatched along with Co4 (Lower Alsace) to a vehicle crash with unknown injuries in the 300 block of Friedensburg Rd. in the boro. Once Asst. 1 (Eisenhard) arrived it was determined that R1 was sufficient for the call and E1 and Co4 were returned. The two vehicles had collided at the intersection of Endlich Ave. and Friedensburg Rd. causing minor fluids down and 2 patients to be evaluated by EMS. One was eventually transported for a minor shoulder injury. The crew then stood by until the tow company removed both involved vehicles and was able to return to station by 4p.m.
