Mt. Penn Fire Company

We Stand Together

The members of the Mt. Penn Fire Company stand with our brothers and sisters in expressing our deepest sympathy to the New Tripoli Fire Company of Lehigh County who lost 2 of their own yesterday.

Firefighter Marvin Gruber and 1st Assistant Chief Zach Paris were operating at a 3-alarm fire in the 1100 block of Clamtown Rd. in West Penn Township, Schuylkill County on December 7th, 2022 when they became trapped inside the structure. They were located and removed and immediately taken to the hospital but both succumbed to their injuries a short time later. The fire, considered suspicious, is under investigation by the PSP Fire Marshal.
