Assist to Oley with spill trailer

On September 16 the spill trailer was dispatched at 10:15a.m. to assist Oley (Co5) with a vehicle crash at the East intersection of Routes 73 & 662.  A car and tractor trailer collided which caused the saddle tank on the truck to rupture and spill a large amount of diesel fuel.  The crews assisted with keeping the spill contained and then transferring the fuel from the damaged tank to the undamaged one.  Oil dry was applied to the fuel that had been spilled on the road.  Mt. Penn crews were able to clear just before noon.
