Early Morning Alsace Crash

On August 15th, shortly after 2a.m. Mt. Penn was dispatched along with Laureldale(Co13) to the 2900 block of Pricetown Rd. for a vehicle crash, reported tractor trailer rolled over. The actual location was in the 3000 block of Pricetown Rd. First arriving units confirmed the report with the driver self extricated and not injured. Fortunately the cargo was bagged sugar and not hazardous. Fire Police from Fleetwood(Co45) were requested to shut down the road on either side as this was going to be an extended operation for the tow company. Fire companies were able to clear the scene shortly after 3a.m. once the tow company arrived. This crash is under investigation by the PA State Police Reading.
