Mt. Penn Fire Company

Fundraiser for local family

Last week members of Mt. Penn and Lower Alsace Fire Companies responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian crash in the 600 block of Carsonia Ave.  Although the father is still recovering in the hospital, baby Ezra is home and doing well.  There has been an outpouring of concern from the community and last week donations were accepted at the AVCP’s Farmer’s Market.  Last night local Rita’s owner Josh Nowotarski stepped up and hosted a fundraising event at his store, donating proceeds to the cause.  Several members from Mt. Penn stopped by to meet baby Ezra and enjoy a cool treat on a warm summer evening.  We wish everybody a speedy recovery and say THANK YOU to the entire Antietam Community!
