As we begin the unofficial start of the summer season there are things missing this year such as the Exeter Memorial Day Parade, the sun, warm temperatures, pool openings and so on. Hopefully things will return to normal soon and we look forward to that. However there is something else missing, over 1 million Americans who have paid the ultimate price so we can have the freedoms that are so much a part of our lives that we often take for granted. They gave their lives in countless locations, skirmishes and full blown battles all around the world. Pause and take a moment to today to give thanks to them. We do not know them all but we owe them all!
