Mt. Penn Fire Company

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We are in the final days of 2017 and 2018 is right around the corner.  It’s been another busy year here at Mt. Penn with our new rescue being placed in service, new members and a new high total of calls.  Members have kept busy with training classes, station duties, equipment testing and taking care of all those calls.

As we move into 2018 we would like to wish the best for you and your family and friends and all the things you have planned to accomplish, whether it is a new job, a new home, winning the lottery  or exploring and experiencing new places and things.  As you ring in the new year please be safe regardless of how you are planning to celebrate.  Don’t drink and drive, watch for changing road and weather conditions as well as other drivers who may be impaired.  As always we ask you to also keep practicing good fire safety especially with the bitter cold temperatures we have been experiencing.  Make sure your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are working properly, your chimney is not blocked and clean and there are no open flames from candles or fireplaces left unattended.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
