On March 7th just after 7p.m. Ladder 1 was dispatched, along with several other companies, on the structure assignment to assist Exeter Township(Co25) at Arkema Inc. 1112 Lincoln Road for a machine on fire inside the building. First arriving units had heavy smoke pushing from a rear door and active fire at the machine. Two lines were pulled to quickly contain the fire which had extended into piping and ductwork. A third line was pulled to assist in extinguishment as crews worked to cut and remove the involved materials which required a great deal of time and effort. Fortunately, damage was contained to the machine and immediate surrounding area. Units were able to begin clearing just before 8:30p.m.
