The members of the Mt. Penn Fire Company recently took delivery of a new to us rescue/engine. It is a 2005 Pierce Lance with a 750 tank and 2000gpm pump with quite a bit more compartment space than the current Rescue 1 which should allow us to easily carry all of our current equipment with space for additional items. Quite a bit of work has already been done as far as some paint work, lettering and striping and some driver training. We look for it to go in service sometime this fall and know it will be a valuable addition to our fleet.
