On June 14th just before 4:30p.m. Mt. Penn was dispatched along with Laureldale (Co13) to the 100 block of Skyline Drive for a report of a pole & wires down that was caused by a vehicle that then left the scene. On arrival of Chief 13 (Feltenberger) he confirmed the address of 109 Skyline Dr. and that a pole was down with live wires. Units blocked the road at McKnight’s Gap and Blankenbiller Rd until Met-Ed arrived to handle the problem. Units were able to clear just before 5:30p.m. The PA State Police at Reading are handling the investigation.
