Mt. Penn Fire Company

Rescue 1 heads to its new home

On Tuesday December 20 the Mt. Penn crew bid farewell to the 1994 Ford/Swab rescue truck which was sold to the Springdale Volunteer Fire Dept. in Allegheny County, PA.  It will replace their 1982 Ford/Swab rescue truck.  After a brief final inspection with Lt. David Okonski and Asst. Chief John Eisenhard they were on their way with Asst. Chief Daniel Copeland at the wheel.  We wish them a safe trip and hope that your new acquisition serves you well!
