Mt. Penn Fire Company

RIT x 2

Just before 4:30p.m. on April 13 Mt. Penn was special called as the second RIT company for a structure fire at 492 S Wyomissing Ave. in Cumru Twp.  First arriving units had found a working structure fire involving the rear of 492 and 494 which became worse due to the dry conditions and steady wind.  Eventually this fire would go to 4 alarms bringing companies from many locations including standby companies from Lancaster County.  Mt. Penn crews were released just before 7p.m.  This fire is under investigation.
