This past Tuesday Ladder 1 & Engine 1 joined Exeter Township(Co25), Birdsboro(Co7) and Keystone(Co16) for training in an acquired structure at the old Giant Food store along Perkiomen Ave. Crews practiced hoseline advancement, aerial and ground ladders and building searches under simulated fire conditions in the front part of this large building. A total of 4 evolutions were completed. The hope is to be able to use this complex a few more times in the coming weeks before demolition begins for a new township facility.
