Lower Alsace vehicle crash

On February 1 just after 10;15p.m. and shortly after returning from a medical assist call in Mt. Penn, the rescue was dispatched to assist Lower Alsace (Co4) for a vehicle crash in the area of Skyline Dr. and List Rd that was reported as a vehicle flipped over with multiple patients.  Arriving crews found the heavily damaged vehicle on its roof with 2 uninjured patients along the roadway and 2 injured ones that were in the woods.  Downed fluids were taken care of with oil dry while other crews removed the patients from the woods so they could be transported to the hospital.  The rescue was able to return just before 11:30p.m.  The crash is under investigation by Central Berks Regional Police.
