Assist to Gibraltar on structure fire

On August 1st while units were participating in National Night Out at the A field L1 was dispatched just before 7:30p.m. to assist Gibraltar (Co23) on a reported structure fire at 50 Walton Ave.  As units were responding the police arrived and reported a working fire in a 20×30 garage.  Most units had to stage on the road as the long and narrow driveway was too small to accommodate much apparatus.  Lines were stretched and the fire knocked down  with extensive overhaul required.  unfortunately the garage was a total loss.  Units were able to clear the scene about 9p.m.
