On March 4th at approximately 10:50pm Mt. Penn was called to 1354 West Wyomissing Court at the Lincoln Park Apartments in Spring Township to assist Spring Township Fire (Co 85) with a second Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) at a 2nd alarm structure fire. Their crews had heavy fire on arrival in one unit of the apartment complex with possible extension to adjoining units. Mt. Penn crews remained on the scene for just over an hour until released by Spring Twp. command.
