Lower Alsace Crash

On June 27 just about 2:30p.m. Rescue 1 was dispatched to assist Lower Alsace (Co4) on a vehicle crash with unknown injuries in the 1900 block of Butter Lane.  Deputy 1-1 (Eisenhard) arrived with one vehicle on its side and the occupant out and uninjured.  Deputy 4-1 (Mountz) was provided the updated information and had the units slow to normal flow.  The patient was evaluated and released by EMS while the fire units stood by to control any hazards until the vehicle was removed by the tow company.  Units were able to clear by 3p.m.

This crash took place shortly after rain had passed through the area and the roads were wet.  Remember that it is state law that if your wipers are on, your headlights must be on as well.  When the weather is bad please remember to slow down and be aware of changing road conditions.  The life you save may be your own!
